Arrival & Access
Arrival & Access
Opening date: Saturday 27 June at 16:.00
Access to the Caravan Camping area follows the festival’s general opening hours. It is not possible to enter and park your vehicle between 22:30 and 07:30. If you arrive during this time, you may be temporarily placed and will be allocated a proper spot according to the rules in the morning.
Arrival procedure:
You do not need a special wristband to enter Caravan Camping as a pedestrian without equipment. Anyone with a regular festival wristband may access the area.
Upon arrival, drive directly to the area. You will be assigned a spot when you present your Caravan Camping ticket.
Once your camping unit is in place, you must go to our Wristband Exchange at Entrance West to exchange your festival ticket for a wristband. Please note that you cannot walk through the camping area before receiving your wristband, so you must go around the area to get your wristband.
It is not possible to park or stop at the entrances, so you must walk to Entrance West to get your wristband.
Tickets cannot be exchanged for wristbands within the Caravan Camping area.
The camping unit must be set up following special safety rules. If the unit is not correctly positioned, the camping hosts will request it to be moved. It is not possible to choose specific spots, even if you are a group, but we do our best to accommodate requests. Setup will follow a fill-principle allocation.
Cars arriving with camping units will receive a sticker allowing them to enter when retrieving their caravan later. Vehicles must leave the area immediately after parking the camping unit. Please note that a parking ticket must be purchased separately. Park N’ Pay tickets go on sale during the spring.
You must leave the area no later than Sunday 5 July at 12:00.
Recommended entrance:
Caravan North, via Ringstedvej through Darupvang
Caravan South, via Kamstrupvej 160

A cleaner Roskilde
When we live together at Roskilde Festival, we must all help take care of our beautiful festival grounds.
This means leaving every area clean and free of the items you brought with you. It also means minimizing our impact on the planet, even while we’re enjoying the festival.
You make a huge difference when you reduce your consumption, sort your waste, and reuse as much as possible.
- Reduce means bringing as little as possible from home
- Sort means helping to keep the festival clean by sorting your waste at our waste stations
- Reuse means taking your belongings home and using them again
